Kindergarten
Our kindergarten emphasizes multi-sensory learning fueled by natural curiosity. The goal is to foster a passion for learning. Our goal is to create literacy and numeracy skills; preparing students for entrance into our elementary studio.
We are planning in the 2025-2026 school year to offer half-day kindergarten options for both the morning (9:00am - Noon) and afternoon (12:30pm - 3:30pm).

Here at Fusion Christian Academy, we believe that the Acton Model is a powerful method for kids to learn. Kids learn best when they are engaged and active vs passive; when they take responsibility for their learning; learning is hands on, the environment provides opportunity to explore, to question, to stimulate curiosity, to develop and discover their own vision and to acquire skills. Through active learning, children become resourceful thinkers who can do far more than we ever imagined.
Every child has a genius within and something important to give to the world and our job at FCA is to uncover that genius and to prepare them to live an exceptional life in the real world with confidence and courage.
What to Expect
At FCA, children will discover their precious gifts and learn to use them to solve difficult problems for themselves and for the world. We aim to create an environment where children develop a life-long love for learning and learn to get along well with others. We believe important skills are acquired to build friendships.
Levels of freedom in the studio are incentivized by the daily and weekly goals that are met and intentional work that is accomplished at the learner’s own pace. FCA is a hero’s journey for both parents and learners. Joseph Campbell describes the hero’s journey as ordinary persons who accept a call to adventure for the discovery of a treasure. That treasure is the inner gifts you want to use to change the world. Parents are the child’s most significant cheerleaders through their child’s journey, but parents must let their child fail and give space to struggle—failure is necessary for growth. We encourage children to face and grow through challenges, as well as solve problems and deal with various sports of conflicts. Learning how to give and take feedback is an important part of development at FCA.
FCA uses both traditional workbooks and the latest adaptive software for the mastery of reading, writing and math. Adaptive, game-based programs are used for mastering these core skills. Daily discussions are part of the curriculum to help learners think on their feet, strengthen critical thinking, and help develop good decision-making skills. Every 5 weeks students make a public presentation of their Discovery Projects to parents and all interested parties.
Our Elementary operates Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm.
